Nanocrystal Corporation USA is headquartered in New Mexico, USA. The company’s technology is a patented, defect-free Gallium Nitride (GaN) nanostructure technology applied to the development of more efficient LED devices - lower cost, improved reliability, and higher power, thus fueling high-volume adoption in markets such as solid state white lighting, automotive, and LCD backlighting of laptops, PDAs, cell phones and TVs.
Nanocrystal has established extensive collaborations and relationships with key R&D institutions in the USA, including the Center for High Technology Materials at the University of New Mexico, Sandia National Laboratory and Los Alamos National Laboratory.

Nanocrystal Asia Inc, Taiwan
Nanocrystal Asia Inc is established in Taipei, Taiwan ROC, the Asian headquarters of Nanocrystal Group, and owns exclusive rights to the intellectual property portfolio of Nanocrystal Group for the Asian markets. Additionally, Nanocrystal Asia is the joint R&D and manufacturing arm of the group in Asia.
Nanocrystal Asia was incorporated on July 14, 2009 in Taipei, and is qualified for IPO in the OTC Board of Taiwan. The company is in the process of raising capital up to NT$100 million.
Due to its unique and patented GaN nanostructure LED technology, which offers significant advantages over conventional LED technologies developed and commercialized by the industry, Nanocrystal Asia has already established collaboration with major LED manufacturers in Taiwan. The Company is interested in and will actively pursue opportunities first in Taiwan, and subsequently in other Asian markets, including China, Korea and Japan.

Mr. Ehud Lee/President
Mr. Lee is the President of Nanocrystal Asia. He is also founding partner of Spring Grace Management Inc., Canada. He has 30 years of experience in corporate governance and management in North America and Asia. Mr. Lee was awarded the Overseas Entrepreneurial Model Award by the Taiwanese Government. One of the companies he managed was also awarded Pioneer Status by the Singapore Government.
Mr. Lee was an engineering graduate from the University of California at Berkeley, USA.
Dr. Petros Varangis
Dr. Varangis is a Board Director in Nanocrystal Asia Inc and also President of Nanocrystal Corp USA. Dr. Varangis received a Ph.D degree in electrical engineering from the University of New Mexico. He has more than fifteen years experience in the field of optoelectronics in R&D institutions and companies, including several years in the management and technical direction of high technology start-up companies, with participation by venture capital funds and strategic partners.
